- Peel and wash lauki and grate.Skip middle part of it.
- Heat a non-stick pan.add ghee and roast dry fruits lightly and take out in a plate. Now add grated bottle gourd and cook on low heat. Stir continuously. place the lid for 3-4mi minutes to cook it perfectly.
- When it cooks completely and dries it's water then add milk. Stir until it dissolves in Lauki.
- Now add sugar. Mix well.add cardamom powder and some dry fruits.cook for few minutes or until halwa gets light thick.
- Now add some ghee. Stir continuously for 2 -3 minutes. Switch off the flame. Delicious bottle gourd halwa is ready.
- Garnish with dry fruits and serve.
In a heavy bottomed pan, heat a tbsp of ghee. How to make Lauki Halwa - Dudhi Halwa. Rinse the bottle gourd for making the halwa and then peel and remove the stalk from it.
